Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
